Malkia: Swahili word meaning "Queen"
Troupe Malkia is the performance subgroup of Sacred Hips in Motion teaching group. Our focus is on fusion belly dance performances inspired by urban styles and various types of world dance. We are a fun-loving group with diverse dance backgrounds who aim to never stop exploring! We hope to inspire others to dance with their whole hearts and to never stop learning. Troupe Malkia would also like to give a special thanks to Ebony Qualls for sharing her dance knowledge and continuing to offer her support and encouragement.
